Very excited about the gigs on the calendar for the next couple months.
First off, this Monday Feb 14th (Valentine’s Day!) the Emergency kicks off the Canada Winter Games celebrations at Parade Square in downtown Halifax. Playing in Nova Scotia is frankly, the best, even when you have to wear cut off gloves to play guitar.
After that I head to the Folk Alliance in Memphis, TN from Feb 17-20 to sing some songs on the acoustic guitar and pay my respects to Willie Mitchell, The Grifters and the King.
On March 4th, the Emergency fires up the engine again with a gig at the Breezeway at Memorial University in St. Johns, NFLD. Following that, we head out for dates in theatres in Ontario and Quebec from March 9th-19. It’s exciting to be getting back on stage with the boys again and playing some more electric guitar. We’ve got some new tunes we’ll no doubt be workshopping on this tour as well as digging into the back catalogue for some classics.
