Congratulations to Joel Plaskett on his 2009 Polaris Music Prize nomination for his album “Threeâ€! The nominees will be shortened to 10 titles on July 7, and the gala ceremony will announce the Grand Prize winner on September 21.
The Polaris Music Prize is a not-for-profit organization that annually honors, celebrates and rewards creativity and diversity in Canadian recorded music by recognizing, then marketing the albums of the highest artistic integrity, without regard to musical genre, professional affiliation, or sales history, as judged by a panel of selected critics and experts.
