“Halifax pop-rock icon Joel Plaskett is getting set to release a new album, “Joel Plaskett & the Park Avenue Sobriety Test,” so no doubt he’ll try out some of the new songs when he performs Friday as part of an all-Halifax JunoFest show at New Vision United Church (formerly Centenary United,) 24 Main St. W., with Jenn Grant and Mo Kenney. Show at 8:30 p.m. A JunoFest wristband will get you in, subject to capacity.”
