Seems like one just turns around and another month blows by… And so we’re well into November already and, for those of you in southwestern Ontario, it’s time to bring to your attention some Emergency gigs in your neck of the woods…

Hey Party People

Just slowing down for 10 seconds after an intense week preparing for the
show with the symphony. The show was a lot of fun and everyone rose to the
occasion. A cool mix of hardcore fans and symphony subscribers who liked
our cover of Silver Threads and Golden Needles. Was thrilling for me to
have over 40 people rocking my songs. CBC radio will likely broadcast the
show in the next month. Will keep you posted on when.

Busy, busy, busy… and then it's New Year's Eve!

It’s been a busy month for Joel and the Emergency Band and it looks like things are going to get busier!

The Keith’s birthday bash at Alderney Landing in Dartmouth earlier in October was a smashing success – a beautiful night after a very sketchy afternoon – and somewhere in the neighbourhood of 7000 fans rocking out.

Do something with a Blundstone 2006

Blundstone Footwear and Australian Boot Company is hosting this third annual fundraising party to benefit Sketch. Sketch is a Toronto based charity whose mandate is working arts for street involved and homeless youth. 40 pairs of adults Blundstone boots and 10 pair of Kid?s Blunnies will be artistically painted, sculpted, welded, cut, pasted or stitched to create the most outrageous and unique pair of Blundstone boots. This year including ‘arted’ boots from Sarah Harmer, Hawksley Workman and Joel Plaskett.
